Bellwright Is Celebrating Its One-Year Anniversary in Early Access; Watch the Trailer to Learn How!

For those who might not be familiar, Bellwright is an open-world survival RPG set during the mediaeval time that's being developed by Donkey Crew and published by them and Snail Games USA. It's been in Steam's Early Access for a year now, and the developer is celebrating the support and love with the Anniversary Update, which is packed with highly requested content and features.

This is what Donkey Crew's Project Lead, Florian "chadz" Hoffreither, had to say about it,

"We've been blown away by the incredible support from our community over this first year. Every piece of feedback, every settlement built, and every uprising fought has helped shape Bellwright into what it is today and what it's still becoming."

So, what can you expect from Bellwright's Anniversary Update?

• The ability to purchase animals from merchants.
• Husbandry structures to raise animals for resources, such as eggs and milk.
• A fishing system has been added, with multiple mini-games, fish types, and a Fishing Hut.
• The butchery and carcass system has been overhauled: there's a new Butchery structure that helps improve yields from animals.
• The ability to skin or process animal carcasses.
• 25+ new quests, including the continuation to popular questlines, such as Whodunit?.
• NPC travel merchants are now available and will travel between settlements.
• New locations, including mountain trails and caves.
• The new library system allows villagers to store and read books based on priorities.
• Crafting UI got a major overhaul that adds item stats, the ability to sort, and an improvement in clarity.
• Players can now save squad rosters to reuse configurations easily.

Bellwright is available on Steam's Early Access, and it currently stands at nearly 11,000 reviews at the time of writing with an 80% Very Positive score.
