Bongo Cat Celebrates April Fools' with Bongo Dog April Event

Developed by Marcel Zurawka and published by Irox Games, Bongo Cat is a unique take on the titles that have taken over the Steam storefront recently: free games with a robust marketplace. Starting up, the titular character appears in your screen tapping with every one of your interactions with the PC, and you accrue points (bongo taps), being able to buy a new item every 30 minutes for 1,000 taps.

For the April Fools' event, Marcel Zurawka celebrate 500,000 Bongo Cat players, with gamers around the world tapping away at their keyboards with their characters. Alongside the announcement of players came the fact that the game's first event will be taking place, letting everyone get unique April Fools'–themed items for a limited time.

The Bongo Dog April event lets players get skins and hats themed around April Fools' and dogs. With 20 exclusive items to acquire, there are a slew of unique customisables to make your Bongo Cat (or Bongo Dog, in this case) yours. These are split four between each rarity, totalling to five rarities total:

• Common (90% drop rate)
• Uncommon (9.5 drop rate)
• Rare (0.49 drop rate)
• Epic (0.01% drop rate)
• Legendary (0.0002% drop rate)

The Bongo Cat April Event will be available until the 22nd of April, after which point the items will no longer be dropable.
