Celebrate KARMA: The Dark World's Successful Launch with a New Filter Mode

Having launched on 27th March, KARMA: The Dark World has become the most successful launch for Wired Productions to date. In celebration of the overwhelmingly positive player response and the Metacritic score of 75+, the developers are thrilled to announce an all-new Filter Mode.

With an amalgamation of surreal storytelling and psychological tension, as well as having been inspired by the likes of David Lynch and Hideo Kojima, KARMA: The Dark World has had a positive reception in not only the West, but China as well. Players have been thrilled by the immersive narrative-driven horror experience, which has only added to the game's unique Orwellian aesthetic.

The Filter Mode will immerse players further as they'll be able to experience KARMA: The Dark World with new film-inspired visual styles. These naturally include a black and white mode, a warm tone mode, and a cool tone mode. The Filter Mode will be a completely free update, and will embrace the game's cinematic routes whilst still maintaining full interactivity.

But first, let's tell you a little more about the game's story. Taking on the role of Daniel McGovern, an elite Roam Agent who must dive into the memories of suspects. A routine investigation quickly spirals out of control, and McGovern finds himself discovering dark conspiracies that will challenge all that he knows. So, navigating the minds of those he pursues, he needs to confront the truth, and finds himself questioning his own reality.

If you're unfamiliar with KARMA and want to try it out for yourself, it's available on Steam, the PlayStation Store, and GOG for £19.99 and £29.99 if you want the deluxe edition. There are also plans for an Xbox launch in the future, with more details to emerge in the months to come.

So, look forward to Filter Mode, coming to KARMA: The Dark World later in April. Not only that, but there are hints of more twists and post-launch content, so keep your eyes peeled.
