Disney Dreamlight Valley Releases Mid-patch Hotfix for Prominent Bugs in Wonderland Whimsy

Disney Dreamlight Valley has a notorious repertoire of game-breaking bugs that prevent players from enjoying the experience, sometimes for months at a time. Gameloft is no stranger to bugs in their highly famous live-service title, but part of the problem has been that, sometimes, fixes could feel months apart from one another.

It's no surprise, then, that the large patch that brought Alice in Wonderland, the Wonderland Whimsy update, would be a culprit for another wave of these. This time around, players were unable to interact with crafting screens, which would appear blank and cause a soft lock (which could be bad for your cloud saving and causing you to lose progress).

It's a relief to see that Gameloft acted quickly this time around for the bugs, as the team brought forward a new hotfix on the 6th of May fixing a slew of known bugs and improvements that were causing the community woes. From items not behaving the way they're meant to (like the Heavy Iron Cauldron being empty) to soft locks and gamepad issues, there are a total of 17 fixes for players to be able to continue their whimsical adventure.
