DOOM: The Dark Ages Receives Official Launch Trailer Ahead of Release
Set before the events of Bethesda's DOOM remaster, DOOM: The Dark Ages is just around the corner, as players will be taking control of the slayer once again to head out and defeat the hordes of Hell. Coming out very soon, and already #4 top-seller on Steam, the sequel to one of the most recognisable boomer shooters out there is coming out very soon.
The trailer gives players a look at a bit of gameplay elements, as the slayer dons wieldsthe Captain America–like shield to defeat gargantuan bosses, and even equips an Iron Man–like mecha suit (similar to Hulkbuster) to fight against some of the larger foes that stand in his way. From some signature weapons, medieval-looking environments and armaments, and an epic soundtrack to boot, the Launch Trailer is a great look for those who are looking forward to the experience.
DOOM: The Dark Ages was announced last year at the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase during the Summer Game Fest 2024, and just a little under a year later, players will now be able to jump into it. The Early Access pre-order bonus kicks off on the 12th of May, giving players the opportunity to jump ahead of time.
If you're excited to jump into the action, you can begin your adventure through DOOM: The Dark Ages for £99.99 as of the 12th of May to get the early access bonus. If not, you can start your adventure for £69.99 on the 15th of May 2025 for PC via Steam or Battle.net, the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, or as a day-one inclusion into the Xbox Game Pass.
