Everything You Need to Know About Disney Dreamlight Valley's Upcoming Free Update

Gameloft recently shared a new video on their social media talking about everything that's coming to their life simulation game, Disney Dreamlight Valley. It's packed with details about the upcoming realm, the Star Path, the new quality-of-life changes, and a surprise that's coming for Star Wars fans! Let's tackle everything.

The first thing showcased is the highly anticipated Alice in Wonderland realm! There's a definite improvement in quality in the recent realm adventures, evidently showcased not only in Aladdin's but also in the few snippets we get from Alice's.

Alongside the new wacky adventure and princess, we'll also be able to unlock the Chesire Cat by solving riddles that will appear throughout the next few weeks. The video showcases the friendship rewards, including wacky furniture and colourful clothing!

He's not the only one joining the cast, either; Star Wars fans will be delighted to know that there's a companion coming from a galaxy far, far away. R2D2 will arrive at the Valley as a companion, and he's not the only surprise! Players can look forward to a new outfit as well as a lightsaber accessory that comes with its own photo pose!They will all arrive to the Premium Shop ahead ofMay the Fourth — Star Wars Day!

We also got a sneak peek of the upcoming Star Path, Garden of Whimsy, which is chock-full of colourful spring items inspired by Disney's Fairies and Alice in Wonderland! Among the items showcased, we get to see the two new outfits (a Victorian-style dress and a Mad-Hatter-like outfit), a new Dream Style for Minnie, a new companion, and a handful of upcoming furniture items.

New QoL improvements are arriving, too. For players (like me) who struggle with materials, the Chesire Cat brings a new machine that can recycle items to receive the materials used to create it! This will cost some Dreamlight.

Another improvement that'll save many players materials is the ability to increase the storage space of small and medium chests by using Dreamlight!

Last but not least, furniture now has subgrids, making it possible to fill them to the brim with items. This is a perfect time to recreate the table from Alice in Wonderland!
