Everything You Need to Know About Disney Speedstorm's Tron Season — Season 12

Gameloft's Disney Speedstorm continues to grow as the team eyes Season 12 (and beyond) with a new roster of characters. With all-new characters, race tracks, and more arriving, here are a few things to know about the latest season!

The Tron universe has arrived toDisney Speedstorm, alongside a few additions to the game. Characters and race tracks make their debut, allowing players to speed across the neon-filled streets of Disney's cyber franchise.

The new roster of characters arriving are the following:

• Sam Flynn
• Quorra
• Rinzler
• Zuse

Each character comes with their own unique abilities and strengths, giving you an edge on the track with a lot of identity discs and light trails that the franchise is known for. Including a slew of offensive and defensive capabilities, these new characters joining the roster will be a strong addition to the races.

Of course, Disney Speedstorm's Season 12 introduces a few new crew members to choose from. All of these crew members will also come from the Tron universe, bringing a bit of sci-fi to the gameplay that will let players use their favourite program.

Some of the new Crew Members added to the game are:

• Kevin Flynn
• ISO
• Jarvis
• Gem
• Sirens
• Grandma Flynn

Tron isn't the only thing making a debut, however, as Season 12 introduces a new way to supercharge racers past their original limits, allowing them to get even more powerful and their skills even more potent. The new "Supercharge" mechanic enables characters advance past five stars and level 50, but you'll need to collect Supercharge Shards, though it'll need to be for that specific racer.

Once you've accrued enough Supercharge Shards and your racer has reached the maximum level and stars, you'll be given the option to Supercharge the racer, with two levels of Supercharge to acquire. The first Supercharge enhances the racer's Ability, while the second enhances their Nitro, which is going to significantly increase the strength of every racer.

Not every racer will receive a Supercharge immediately, but new racers will be joining the Supercharge roster as new updates trickle in. Stay tuned for your favourite to join the line-up.

Finally, Season 12 introduces the Diamond Pass, which isn't an entirely unique pass but rather an upgrade to the Gold Pass that already exists. As such, if you originally purchased the Gold Pass but then later on decided that you wanted to upgrade, you can pay the difference to get the Diamond Pass upgrades for even more rewards spread across 15 tiers.

Diamond Pass holders will get the following items additional to the Gold Pass rewards:

• 3000 Seasonal Coins
• Four Box Credits
• 10,000 Upgrade Coins
• An Epic Racer capsule
• Instant Max Out

The Instant Max Out will allow players to get a character from a selection instantly to five stars, giving you the opportunity to turn them far more competitive immediately. You don't get to choose from the entire roster, but you can make your decision from a selection that will be offered, and you'll get them straight to five stars, skipping the grinding for shards.
