Exovia Announced with a New Teaser Trailer

ByteRockers' Games has announced their newest in-house developed asteroid mining and resource gathering game in the form of Exovia.

Exovia invites players to relax in a low-stakes 2D space, trading combat for ingenuity. With zero gravity physics and a serene sandbox, you'll have to complete logistics-based challenges to gather everything you want.

Playing as a hard-working space engineer, you'll need to mine asteroids to gather resources. But, you'll also have to find out how you can bring them back for processing. Each material starts as part of the asteroid, and you'll need to upgrade your abilities over time to go deeper in, and traverse each asteroid's distinct biome.

Driven by optimism instead of fear, Exovia allows you to move at your own pace. Space is a place of wonder, and set-pieces scattered amongst the biomes and long-term missions will bring a narrative to your quest. Not only will you be allowed to relax in solitude, but the narrative will bring new meaning to the game.

As you progress, you'll unlock new technologies, update capabilities, and overcome more challenging logistical puzzles. You'll need to build, explore, and engineer your way towards your ultimate goal: activate the warp gate and open a new frontier into the stars.

ByteRockers' Games has been working internally on Exovia since 2024, and has been developed with the goal of being deeply satisfying, as well as meditative. With Exovia, the hey hope to create something new, and with the world feeling more uncertain, Maxim Suckow, the Game Designer at ByteRockers' Games, hopes to make a game where players can take their time and unwind without any pressure.

If you're interested in Exovia, then feel free to add it to your wishlist on Steam now, where a demo is already available!
