Flower Shop Otome Visual Novel, Him, the Smile & bloom is out Now Digitally in Europe and North America
New Japanese flower shop-based otome, Him, the Smile & bloom is now available digitally on Steam and Nintendo Switch, with physical copies released in Europe and April this year for North America.
Follow the lives of four couples with connections to a local flower shop, demonstrating the highs and lows of their relationships with each story in a unique exploration of love in the modern world.
Play as several protagonists, each with their own love interests and personalities as they navigate the whirlwind of young love, leading the reader to a rose-tinted ending. Instead of getting “good” or “bad” endings, Him, the Smile & bloom ends each story with a snapshot of the couple’s future, whether it’s romantic or not.
However, completing the game with the best endings will grant the reader bonus content and side stories. PQube, the author, has promised a “memorable” experience for lovers or casual readers of otome, a subgenre of digital visual novels starring a female protagonist for a same-sex audience.
Each character artwork and colourful backgrounds have been pain-staking detailed with consideration, and combined with voice work from professional actors, enhance the game. Him, the Smile & bloom is available on Steam and Nintendo Switch now.
