Fortiche Studios Gives One Final Hurrah to Arcane in Timebomb Music Video Ma Meilleure Ennemie

Riot Games' highly successful second season of Netflix's Arcane is now a memory of the past, having culminated in a heartwrenching ending that left a few fans mixed. With most viewers enamoured by Runeterra's universe, many have been looking forward to what comes after Arcane, and we've already seen a fair few teases... but Fortiche hasn't forgotten their classic.

Spoilers for Arcane Season 2 Ahead

In an extended music video for the song that break many people's hearts, Fortiche shared the animation for "Ma Meilleure Ennemie", the French song by Stromae, Pomme, that Ekko and Alternative Universe Powder danced to. Timebomb immediately became one of the fan-favourite ships for Arcane (not that we were missing any ships in the show, to be fair).

While the ending saw Ekko and Jinx separated, as the Boy Who Shattered Time leaves the alternative timeline to save his love and The Loose Cannon met a seeming demise while fighting against the husk of her father, this trailer gives fans a glimpse at a happy ending. The 2:48-long video shares a glimpse at the sacrifices that both members of Timebomb had to make, culminating in a warm hug and the intimate moment that Ekko and Jinx were ultimately unable to share in the second season.

Despite its release on the 20th of March, several days later, Stromae, Pomme - "Ma Mailleure Ennemie" still basks in being part of YouTube's Trending section, showing the strength that the Arcane universe still has despite months after the culmination. Riot Games continues to drip-feed fans of the animated series with teases of the upcoming Noxus-based show throughout their Season 1 Act 1 and Season 1 Act 2, both of which have been themed around the Empire that the next show might take place in.

We'll likely learn more about what we can expect from Riot Games and Fortiche in the coming months of 2025, as the following seasons of League of Legends will be themed around regions we know are in active development for shows. With Demacia joining the fray and Ionia following soon thereafter, it could be likely we'll see more Fortiche-style cinematics to tease the shows that are coming.
