Get a Behind-the-scenes Look at NASCAR 25 with iRacing's Latest Dev Diary Video
NASCAR 25 is a highly anticipated racing title where players will be able to enjoy the latest NASCAR series. Developed by iRacing, this new title has received a brand-new trailer on the official YouTube channel featuring information about what's to come.
The video has a fair few developers and famous faces in the industry, such as Executive Producer Dale Earnhardt Jr., Ty Majeski, and more, as they talk about what's coming in the latest title. Taking a look at what we can expect, including a sneak peek into the Career Mode and more.
The first thing mentioned is that NASCAR '25 will feature all of the four premier NASCAR series. Officially, this means that the following have been confirmed for the upcoming title:
- NASCAR Cup Series
- Xfinity Series
- Craftsman Truck Series
- ARCA Menards Series
They will all be featured "extensively" throughout the Career Mode, though not exclusively. You'll also find them prominently throughout the other gameplay modes, including the confirmed quick races, seasons, and online multiplayer.
We also learn a bit more about the Career Mode, where you'll start in your backyard garage and work your way to championship, making you debut first in the ARCA Menards Series to hone your skills. Customise your vehicle, get better at racing, and work your way up by signing contracts, earning money, hiring more staff, expanding your facilities, and builging up your reputation. The narrative gives a very tried-and-true feeling of the simulator genre that has worked so well for titles in the past.
This is going to be the first standalone NASCAR console title produced by iRacing, who are known for their title released on Steam by the same name, bringing their decades of racing experience to this titular franchise.
NASCAR '25 is set to release in the fall of this year for consoles and PC.
