League of Legends Shares Launch Trailer for Spirit Blossom Beyond Season

The official launch for Season 2 Act 1 is here, as Spirit Blossom Beyond launches to live servers. The trailer gives a bit of an overview of everything that's released throughout this new season, so we're taking a bit of a look at that ourselves.

Of course, we've already had a bit of a deep-dive into everything that Riot Games was offering in League of Legends with its latest trailer. We talked a bit about everything in the Dev Update, but we also touched individually on the changes coming to Summoner's Rift, the new skins, and even the SMITE-like game mode coming up soon!

The trailer works as a bit of a review of everything that was touched in those, but instead, in the League of Legends format showing them off in-game. Showcased in here are the following elements:

• Visual Map Updates (changing to Spirit Blossom and Ionia for the season)
• Battle Pass Rewards
• New Skins (showing off the Legendary, Spirit Blossom, and the "Skins from Beyond"
• New Atakhan Form
• New Game Mode (coming soon)

Though the trailer's like-to-dislike ratio hasn't seen the usual wave of hate that some of these do, the comments are filled with players unhappy with the state of the current Battle Pass skins. Notably, Spirit Blossom Ivern is receiving some hate for his chroma-like look despite not having received a skin in nearly two years.

The League of Legends Spirit Blossom Beyond season is now live, as its first Act is now in full motion.
