Neon Abyss 2 Announced for PC — Check Out the Reveal Trailer

Veewo Games has announced Neon Abyss 2, a sequel to the 2020 rogue-like action-platformer that sent players infiltrating the Abyss with all kinds of items, bosses, secrets, and pets to discover. This new instalment is raising the stakes and the chaos, taking the original gameplay systems and revolutionising them: wilder item synergies, imaginative mix-and-match combat styles, and plenty of Hatchmon to collect. Explore these new features in the Abyss when Neon Abyss 2 arrives in Early Access on PC in 2025, and you can get a taste of what’s to come with the new action-packed trailer linked above.

Whether you prefer to bash, blast, or grow your way to a successful run, there will be plenty of weapons you can choose from, opening up a variety of combat styles to explore — and with no limits on item synergy, there’ll be no shortage of chaotic power to call upon as you face dangerous new enemies. Of course, any Hatchmon you discover will also evolve into unique allies, assisting you in your unpredictable journey through the Abyss.

Perhaps the most notable change to come is Neon’s all-new Faith System, a power that will allow you to turn the tides of your run. With Faith, you can purchase powerful items, recruit more companions, and more.

The Early Access period is expected to run from 2025 and continue into 2026.
