PlayStation Stars is Ending
After launching nearly three years ago, PlayStation Stars, PlayStation's loyalty program for players will be coming to an end.
Sony are looking to evolve and adapt to the latest trends in the gaming community, and are thus ending the current version of PlayStation Stars to refocus and build upon their efforts. As a result, over the next several months, you'll see some changes.
While you can still complete Campaigns, level up, and earn rewards until 23rd July 2025, after this point, there will not be any Campaigns or levels. Therefore, players won't be able to earn any additional rewards or status benefits. Points and items in the Rewards Catalogue will still be able to be redeemed, until the points you have expire.
Officially, PlayStation Stars will end on 2nd November 2026, and players will no longer be able to access it. If you want to cancel your membership, you will lose any unused points you've obtained, and will no longer be able to rejoin this version of the program.
Thankfully, your Digital Collectibles will still be yours to keep whether you cancel your membership or when PlayStation Stars ends.
With this in mind, PlayStation is already thinking about new ways to evolve their efforts for a loyalty program in the future, but for now, it looks like that's the end of PlayStation Stars.
