Rebellion's Speedball Receives Major Update Adding New Mode and Arenas

Developed and published by Rebellion, Speedball is a fast-paced sports title where corporations use the aggressive sport to distract the masses from their miserable lives. Released on Early Access last year on the 29th of October, it has received a new major content update.

The brutal sport is receiving a League Mode, where 10 teams will partake, competing over a season to be crowned the champions. In order to participate, you need at least a squad of 18 all-star players, as you play, bench, or make them rest strategically throughout the season.

Failure to do so leads to fatigue and injuries, so you'll need to rotate accordingly and ensure that everyone's in tip-top shape for the harshest matches yet to come. Considering it's a brutal arena where anything goes, you'll need to draft new players to your team to make up for losses, and effectively managing them will be your key to victory.

The new major update also introduces two new arenas: Grand Central and King's Terminus, giving you the opportunity to play in all-new fields and master new locations. This should help keep the gameplay fresh while experiencing the latest stages in League mode.
