REKA's Latest Update Arrives for its Early Access

Emberstone Entertainment and Fireshine Games' cosy building witchy title REKA has received a brand-new update named Roots & Remedies. Launched on the 12th of September 2024, it's an Early Access title looking forward to its 1.0 release sometime this year, according to the Early Access game description by the developer.

The latest update brings a new gardening mechanic for players' chicken-legged home, as you'll be able to plant all sorts of magical to normal seeds, from wolfsbane to pumpkins. Use your trusty Old Watering Can to ensure your garden can thrive, and harvest the crops to use them in the Herbalist Workshop to craft potions for NPCs or to use yourself.

New potion-making and gardening aren't the only things arriving in REKA's Roots & Remedies update: also available in the update is the inclusion of new Lost Places to explore, featuring puzzles or platforming sequences to get unique items. You can also find new NPCs, an Oil Lantern to aid you in your exploration, a new teleporting functionality to go home, and more.
