Developed and published by KOEI TECMO, Rise of the Ronin is an open-world adventure set in Japan during the 19th century. Players will explore the war-torn country as a nameless ronin.

The game offers the ability to customise the protagonist's body and clothing, but there's gear to be acquired through progression as well! Another way to customise in-game is through the weapons and combat styles, which offer things like katana, spear, and odachi!

Throughout the experience, the decisions made affect how the factions and historical figures encountered will react, as well as the player's experience. A great example of this is whether to assassinate or protect Naosuke Ii!
