Steam Next Fest February 2025 Has Officially Arrived

As Steam sunsets its latest festival, it's time for players to look forward to the next thing on their list. As one of the most-beloved events that make a consistent return, Steam Next Fest — the first one of 2025 — has officially arrived, and it comes with hundreds of demos for players to try!

If you're unaware of what the Steam Next Fest is, we've got you covered! Valve's ever-famous Steam launcher is always looking to new games releasing, with dozens (nearly over a hundred) of games released throughout the week.

Steam Next Fest is a celebration of all things upcoming. All sorts of developers and publishers prepare for the event that celebrates what will be, looking forward to the games that are yet to be released, either those eyeing a release date mere weeks into the future or even titles without official release dates.

The Steam Next Fest's main premise is simple: demos. You can partake by going to the official homepage for the Steam Next Fest and finding all sorts of demos to try, rate (thanks to the new demo movement that Valve has been doing), and then find titles to look forward to. Add titles to your wishlist, try out a few games ahead of their release, and find things to look forward to throughout 2025 (and beyond).

Steam Next Fest is a week-long event that lets players enjoy demos. As it started on the 24th of February, you have until Monday of next week — on the 3rd of March — to try the demos. Do bear in mind that once the festivities end, a lot of demos will be removed from your library. This is a tip for two specific things:

1. Try to play the demos you are most interested in during the week-long period of the Steam Next Fest February 2025
2. Download all the demos that you want to play. Just because their official storepageis taken down doesn't mean that the demo is removed from your library: some are still available for you to play after the end date.

The Steam Next Fest will be available until the 3rd of March 2025.
