Stellar Blade Receives Official PC and Upcoming DLC Announcement

Sony's strategy and approach to the way that the PlayStation owner handles their exclusives has shifted slightly. From originally holding the games with an iron grip, PlayStation is letting loose a few of their titles earlier than their promised three-year break, and this is true for one of the latest titles: Stellar Blade.

Released just last year on the 26th of April 2024, this title was renowned for its soulslike gameplay and the character's physique, which brought some contention between the pro- and anti-DEI teams due to Eve's assets. Despite the controversies, the title came out to critical acclaim, receiving a total 81 Metacritic score from critics and 9.2 user score.

Now, their title is officially making its PC debut just 14 months after the release of the game — a far cry from their expected two-to-three-year exclusivity period. The announcement of the PC release came alongside the announcement of the Stellar Blade X Goddess of Victory - Nikke DLC, bringing in a boss battle, collectible dolls, stickers, and new outfits.

The PC version of Stellar Blade will be releasing with the additional content in June 2025, with a more specific launch date set to be announced later on in the year.
