Urban Myth Dissolution Center Has Sold Over 100,000 Units Within 10 Days!

Shueisha Games, the company who published Hakababunko's Urban Myth Dissolution Center has revealed that the single-player psycho-detective mystery adventure has already passed the 100,000 copies sold milestone within 10 days of the game's release.

In order to celebrate this, production is now underway for a music video featuring Urban Myth Dissolution Center's theme song, "KIKIKAITAI". With composition by MURASAKI and performed by Katatakan, "KIKIKAITAI" merges eerie trap beats and catchy pop melodies, thus immersing the game's mysterious atmosphere. So, you can expect it to be produced in Japanese, and released with full lyrics. So, keep an eye out!

If you aren't aware of Urban Myth Dissolution Center, then let's just expand on the plot. You play as Azami Fukurai, an unusual rookie member of the aforementioned Dissolution Center. With an ability to see the memories of places through her glasses, she needs to navigate through the unique paranormal objects and anomalies of each case.

She is joined by her colleagues, Jasmine; unenthusiastic yet capable, and Ayumu Meguriya; the Level S psychic and wheelchair-bound director of the Center. Told through episodic chapters, the player can explore the different urban myths that haunt the internet. You can research them online and onsite, conduct interviews, and use divination to face the unexpected consequences for Azami's research.

With support for multiple languages, Urban Myth Dissolution Center is Steam Deck certified, and is currently available on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch for £15.79/$17.99.
