All of the 26 New Games Joining the GOG Preservation Program

Good Old Games, the DRM-free launcher many will recognise as GOG, is growing its Preservation Program, fighting against the prominent issue that has plagued our industry of titles going out of commission. Their promise to gamers is to keep titles up-to-date, working in modern hardware and software to ensure that what you buy remains truly yours.

In a world where DRM has taken favourite games from players who loved them, and after little progress has been made in the Keep Games Alive movement, GOG stands as a boon of ownership. With each coming month, new games are added to the Preservation Program, letting players play their favourite old titles and be sure they can own them for years to come via the DRM-free files.

With that in mind, as March is well on its way to ending and we conclude the first quarter of 2025, we have gotten the opportunity to see the 26 new titles joining GOG. Here are all of the new additions to the Preservation Program:

  • Silent Hill 4: The Room
  • F.E.A.R. Platinum
  • Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption
  • Tomb Raider: Underworld
  • Tomb Raider: Anniversary
  • Tomb Raider: Legend
  • Alonge in the Dark: The Trilogy 1+2+3
  • Ultima 1+2+3
  • Ultima 4+5+6
  • Ultima 8 Gold Edition
  • Wing Commander 1+2
  • Deus Ex GOTY Edition
  • Jagged Alliance
  • Fallout 2
  • Privateer 2: The Darkening
  • Port Royale 3 Gold
  • Alien Breed + Tower Assault
  • Cannon Fodder
  • Cannon Fodder 2

The highlight for this line-up is Silent Hill 4: The Room, which comes with confirmed stability and missing content that has never been available on PC before.

The GOG Preservation Program continues strong, as these 26 games join a line-up of 141 already in the program and many more to hopefully come. If your favourite classic isn't part of the GOG Preservation list, you can join in on helping bring these back by voting on the GOG Dreamlist and sharing your story with it.
