Common inZOI: Creative Studio Issues and How to Handle Them

In preparation for the release of the upcoming simulation game inZOI — developed by inZOI Studio and published by KRAFTON, Inc. — the developer has released the inZOI: Creative Studio, which allows players to make their character and try out the building mode. If you've done so and are experiencing some issues and difficulties, there might be a solution! Here are a few common problems and how to fix them.

Facial Capture Not Working

One of inZOI's features is the ability to use facial capture on the in-game avatars (kind of like your very own Zoi VTuber). If you're having trouble getting it to work, here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • The facial capture feature currently only supports iOS.
  • Double-check that your PC and phone are connected to the same network.
  • Change Windows Defender Firewall's settings from Public to Private.

Missing File Privileges

If you're struggling to boot up or install inZOI: Creative Studio because of "Missing File Privileges", cleaning Steam's cache might work!

Here's how to do it:

  • Click on "Steam" (in the Steam window's top left), then Settings.
  • Go to Downloads.
  • Find Clear Cache (it's near the bottom), click it, andthen confirm.
  • Restart the Steam client.

If this doesn't work, make sure to check that the game's system requirementsare met, and if they are, inZOI Studios (the developer) recommends contacting them by opening a ticket.

Invalid Request

If you get an "Invalid Request" message when trying to upload a Canvas, you'll need to wait for 24 hours before trying again. This is due to a security feature made to protect the Canvas system! But restrictions are lifted after a day.

Game Resolution Problems

If the resolution isn't working right when the game is launched — like low resolution or a stretched image — the problem might be fixed by adjusting the launch resolution. You can do so as follows:

  • Go to inZOI's config file (which should be in "C:\Users\{YourUsername}\AppData\Local\BlueClient\Saved\Config\Windows".
  • Change the values to the desired ones.

Error Code RED (Invalid Request. [Error Code: RED]")

Last but not least, a common problem is that players get an Error Code: RED message. This means that the file you're trying to upload to the Canva system is too large and exceeds the limit! Simply reduce the elements (like items or images) and try again.
