Aloft Releases to Early Access with New Launch Trailer

After being revealed on Summer Game Fest 2024, Astrolabe Interactive Inc and Funcom are proud to announce the official Early Access release for Aloft. This survival-crafting title gives players an open-world setting to explore whilst flying through the skies as they create sky islands and build a home to call their own.

The latest trailer gives players a glimpse at what's to come and what has changed in this official version. Released on the 15th of January, the public build gives players the opportunity to soar into the skies and explore a new world full of whimsy and possibility.

Exploration takes a key point in the advancement, as you'll find ancient knowledge stones with information to learn new crafting recipes and use sketchbooks to learn furniture pieces around the world. Restore the broken land, build your flying home, and set out to sail across the skies in this ambitious project — will you reach the answers you set out for?

The current state of the game gives players the opportunity to enjoy the exploration-based crafting, building, and open-world sandbox gameplay loop that the team was aiming for. Added already are the following features that players can enjoy:
