Atari's Upcoming Reimagining of Breakout Receives an Official Release Date Trailer

Atari continues to grow their library of arcade-time reimaginings with Breakout, one of the most recognisable retro titles. Choice Provisions developed Breakout Beyondwill feature a horizontal approach to the otherwise vertical title as players embark into brick-breaking with modernised elements.

This latest title will bring players along for a single-player or two-player co-op experience spanning 72 levels to complete. As your score increases, the procedural audio and visual effects intensify, bringing in all-new adrenaline and visuals to the title with a black background and neon bricks to destroy.

Announced just last month, Atari's Breakout Beyond has also received an official release date in their latest short trailer showcasing some of the gameplay! The wait won't be long for lovers of reimagined retro titles, as its official release date is on the 25th of March! You can pick it up via Windows PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, the Nintendo Switch, and Atari VCS.
