Limited-time Twitch Drops Event with Tied to Kingdom Come: Deliverance II's Release — How to Link, Information, and Rewards

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is enjoying a Twitch Drops event in light of its recent release. To celebrate the launch of the title — the highly successful launch of the title, at that — Warhorse Studios is giving players the opportunity to earn some "fine armour" that you'll be able to take with you in the game as you wage war.

The Twitch Drops event gives players the opportunity to get a slew of items themed around Kingdom Come: Deliverance II for the game. Those who partake will be able to earn the whole Warhorse Armour Set to take with themselves across 15th-century Bohemia, but you'll have a limited time to acquire these items.

Let's talk first about how to earn the drops. There are a few steps you'll need to complete before you are eligible for the rewards and, furthermore, there are a few steps that you'll need to complete once you do earn your rewards, so let's go over them real quick.

  1. Link your Steam account to your Twitch account. To do this, you'll need to head over to the Twitch connections section (whilst already logged in to an account on the streaming platform) and then connect your account to Steam.
  2. Head over to the Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Twitch category and find a streamer to watch (or just click here to find the category easily without hassle)
  3. Pick a steamer that has the tag "DropsEnabled" (it's safest to pick one that has the tag rather than one that has it on the title, just to be safe).
  4. Watch content for the hours to unlock items
  5. Claim your rewards — ALL REWARDS NEED TO BE CLAIMED. If you forget to claim your rewards after watching, you might become inelligible and lose out on the item that you watched the stream for to begin with.

Now, here comes the bad news: if you want to acquire the entire set of armour, you'll need to watch for a total of 4 hours and 30 minutes, giving you a long time to get acquainted with your favourite Kingdom Come: Deliverance II streamer. Here are the specifics for the rewards:

  • Watch 30 minutes to get the Warhorse Waffenrock
  • Watch one hour to claim the Brigandine Sleeves
  • Watch one hour and 30 minutes to claim the Warhorse Gauntlets
  • Watch two hours to claim the Brigandine Leg
  • Watch two hours and 30 minutes to claim the Warhorse Boots
  • Watch three hours to claim the Warhorse Caparison
  • Watch three hours and 30 minutes to claim the Warhorse Shield
  • Watch four hours to claim the Warhorse Bascinet
  • Watch four hours and 30 minutes to claim the Warhorse Pourpoint

The good news, however, is that you don't really need to watch the streamers in order to earn the rewards. If you really want, you can leave the Twitch streams running in the background whilst you do other things in order to farm out the four hours quickly.

When doing this method, do bear in mind one thing: do not mute the Twitch player. Muting the video itself will invalidate you as a watcher and, in turn, not gain any progress towards the rewards that you're trying to get. Instead of hearing the streamer in the background, however, you can just right-click your tab on your browser and select "mute tab" in order to still be eligible, even without sound in the background.

Once you do, please do not forget to claim your rewards. This is an important step and one that is easy to forget when idling away the hours without watching directly, especially for those who don't use Twitch a lot (like me).

The Twitch Drops event is available only until the 11th of February, so make sure that you start watching soon to get your rewards.
