Sniper Elite: Resistance Receives Official Features Trailer

Rebellion's Sniper Elite franchise continues with the latest entry releasing this year: Sniper Elite: Resistance, a brand-new experience featuring a host of new features for players to enjoy! The latest trailer goes over all of the new features that players can expect to enjoy, including new additions and returning fan-favourite modes.

For the first time in franchise history, take control of Harry Hawker as you experience his story as an agent of the Special Operations Executive. As an expert marksman, similarly to Karl Fairburne, players will be able to enjoy all-new sniping angles and play with in-depth elements to line up the perfect shot and take out a priority target.

The events in Sniper Elite: Resistance happen alongside those of Sniper Elite 5, as players will head off to France to fight alongside the resistance. As the narrative unfolds, uncover a new Wunderwaffe that could turn the tide of war and ensure that the conflict ends in favour of the right parties.

The features trailer gives us a look at Harry Hawker's arsenal and new environments that he'll embark on, alongside introducing the antagonist of the epic campaign. You don't have to fight alone, however, as Sniper Elite: Resistance gives you the opportunity to experience all of it in online co-op with a friend.

This also marks the return of the Invasions mode, where players will have to fight an enemy sniper throughout the campaign and experience the thrill of battling a competent sniper who will stop at nothing to bring you down. Arriving from Sniper Elite 5, this feature will now be an optional toggle, meaning that if you aren't keen on running reconnaissance and finding your invader, you'll be able to unravel the narrative without interruption.

New to Resistance is the inclusion of Propaganda missions. By finding posters around the world, you'll unlock a slew of missions to complete as alternative Resistance fighters, giving you access to quick-fire challenges that you'll need to beat against the running clock.

Sniper Elite: Resistance is set to release on the 30th of January 2025 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
