The Sims 4 Reveals Upcoming Businesses & Hobbies Expansion Pack

As Electronic Arts brings their iconic The Sims franchise to Steam, it's time for their current mainline title — The Sims 4 — to get its newest expansion pack. Introducing The Sims 4 Businesses & Hobbies Expansion Pack, which is set to become the game's 93rd DLC that you can purchase.

This latest expansion pack gives players the opportunity to explore a new form of self-expression in the form of tattoos, giving a little bit of ink to all of the sims around the city. Tattoo artists, lovers of all things drawing, or even amateurs will find something for them in this expansion.

Tattooing takes the limelight as part of the Businesses & Hobbies expansion pack, as players will be able to physically draw tattoos to put on the sims around the world (or their own). Most interestingly, however, is the fact that you'll also be able to set up shop as part of digital content, where you'll be able to share your creations and download from others in the Gallery.

Tattoos may take front-and-centre as the most expanded idea in the Businesses & Hobbies expansion pack, but it isn't the only thing coming. Shown off in the trailer is also the new hobby that sims can take up (and possibly monetise): Pottery skill, introducing the Japanese art of Kintsugi!

The key features for the Businesses & Hobbies expansion pack are:

• Use a new Tattoo Paint Mode to bring your creations to life in the form of tattoos
• Share your unique tattoo ideas or download new ones from the Gallery
• Take up Pottery, level up the skill, and learn the Japanese art of Kintsugi
• Live in the city of Nordhaven, where you'll join a community of passionate dreamers to chase your dream life working in your hobby
• Get 162 clothing items with plenty of new tattoos to wear and 196 pieces of furniture to set up your dream shop

The Sims 4 Businesses & Hobbies Expansion Pack is set to release on the 6th of March for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC and Mac via Steam and the EA app on the 6th of March, with a pre-order bonus available now.
