Vampire Survivors Releases Brand-new Free Update "The Coop"

Grandparent of the bullet heaven genre Vampire Survivors isn't slowing down, even three years after release. Already at its 7th DLC with the latest free Vampire Survivors: Emerald Beyond, it wasn't just a Square Enix collaboration that poncle had waiting for fans in the latest update.

"The Coop" update plays on the community's asking for the highly requested online co-op launch date. Ever since Vampire Survivors launched its local co-op, players haven't been satiated, hoping to see an online implementation despite the Steam Remote Play offering a pseudo-co-op experience.

"The Coop" is more than just a joke, however, as it brings a lot of chicken-themed shenanigans. Here's everything you need to know in terms of key features:

• A new relic has been added that lets you speed up the game
• A new barn-like stage has been added in honour of the chicken theme
• A new character, weapon, and darkana have been added to follow the overall thematic
• Eight new achievements to acquire
• Two new adventures with six chapters each: one for the base game named "To End and Ice Age" and one for the Tides of the Foscari DLC named "Tides of the Foscari"

To partake in the game, players will need to unlock The Coop, which can be done by collecting a lifetime total of 500 Floor Chickens. Once done, you can jump into The Coop to take advantage of all of the newly added systems.
